We recognise that your home is a reflection of your personality, so we aim to get to know our clients and help identify how best to configure their dream home. We take the time to understand how they use their existing space and how they envisage living in their new home.
We are an independent, privately owned company with adaptable business structures enabling us to be agile and flexible; which means that each service is tailored to your specific requirements. Homes are as unique as the people within and we treat each project thus; we understand that there is no ‘one size fits all’ formula and we approach each task with a fresh enthusiasm which belies our experience.
In a fiercely competitive industry we recognise that our clients want transparency, honesty and reliability; we do away with the jargon and speak in terms which are easily understandable to the non-construction professional.
Our Founder
Suki Singh : Director
For more than a decade, our Director Mr Suki Singh has been involved in delivering numerous award-winning luxury homes in and around the South Bucks area and Home Counties.
A qualified accountant (CGMA) by trade, Suki spent a number of years in commercial finance working for large corporates such as Vodafone and Coca-Cola which helped develop his professional, management, analytical and organisational abilities.
In pursuit of his real passion – property development, Suki became a qualified construction project manager; successfully delivering dozens of luxury homes for his clients before branching out as Chaucer Homes.

First of all, we offer a quick, competitive and no-obligation fixed price quote with no hidden extras.
As our client, you will have one point of contact throughout the whole process. Your dedicated Project Manager will know your project thoroughly and be able to answer any questions you may have. Their sole purpose is to deliver your dream home and provide an exceptional customer experience.
We use our extensive network of craftsmen and suppliers to secure the best prices on all materials, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and landscaping requirements.
Our Process
We have spent many years refining a process that delivers results.
Having agreed on the brief and the quote, we present your build specification in a format which is easy to understand. You will be given plans detailing the before and after layouts, so you know exactly what you will be receiving from the outset.
Upon your acceptance of our tender, we would arrange a meeting to:
- Agree a project commencement date
- Lay out what you can expect from us throughout the process
- Establish preferred methods of client contact and communication
- Provide you with a cash flow forecast
- Introduce you to the Project Team
- Provide an overview of the programme of works
- Prepare and authorise client handover and documentation
- Detail the 12 month defect period and 10 year warranty cover
We then build a timeline of works, highlighting key milestones so that you can keep track of progress.
